Shadow Ventures, Inc. is a non-profit corporation advocating freedom of lifestyle, civil rights, cultural diversity, and relevant educational programs that operates radiofreeatlanta
Our mission is to provide high-quality cultural & lifestyle education, musical programs, and listener services for people interested in learning about diverse cultures, lifestyles, their origins, history, civil rights issues and associated music and art.
We intend to focus sharply on that mission, and not get distracted by trying to be all things or serve all people.
Radiofreeatlanta provides news, art, music, societal views and editorial, and educational presentations seven days a week via the website and 3d environments, presented by professional educators and broadcasters most of whom have decades of experience in various educational media, subject matter and educational techniques. The site features high-quality audio, as well as written stories and news. It also includes commentary pieces from the community, and comments from readers on individual stories. The site will not endorse candidates for office or publish unsigned editorials representing an institutional position. We encourage broad-ranging, civil discussion from many points of view.
Shadow Ventures, Inc. additionally provides unique interactive educational and learning opportunities via the internet using various media and 3D virtual environments such as "Second Life"
Our goal is to create a sustainable business model for this kind of education, supported by corporate sponsors, advertisers, and members who make annual donations. High-quality cultural, lifestyle, musical and historical education is a community asset that sustains cultural knowledge, quality of life and promotes freedom of speech and civil rights for all. We are asking people who believe in it to support our work.
